We are very excited to announce that Dr. Ann Pearson will be giving the keynote address at the 2015 Southeastern Biogeochemistry Symposium.

 Do Microbial Ecosystems Have Trophic Structure?
Dr. Ann Pearson, Harvard University

Dr. Ann Pearson, Murray and Martha Ross Professor of Environmental Sciences at Harvard University. Pearson holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Oberlin College, a Ph.D. in Chemical Oceanography from the MIT/WHOI Joint Program, a Packard Foundation Fellowship for Science and Engineering, a Radcliffe Institute Fellowship, and is a Moore Foundation Marine Microbiology Initiative Investigator. Her research focuses on applications of analytical chemistry, isotope geochemistry, and molecular biology to biological and chemical oceanography and Earth history.
